Hi there! If you’re reading this it’s becasue you’ve expressed a desire to learn more about my comissioned work. Every artist is a little different in their approach to the process. I very much see it as a collaboration, and as such I’ love to share a bit about my creative process first.

Every painting begins as a whisper — a glimpse of something sacred and unseen that wants to take form. This moment is a sacred invitation.

Once that invitation is acknowledged I will sit with the canvas and wait. This stage is where I stretch and test the idea that has come with the invitation. Sometimes that’s with sketches and smaller works, and sometimes I’m inspired to just start. These inital marks on the canvas are simple and unedited. They begin to take shape, and at this point a conversation in born between me, the canvas, and the divine nudges my spirit has grown accustomed to through years of making. Each brushstroke becomes the physical evidence of an internal dance between spirit, story, and color.

Through commissioned works, I invite collectors into that process — not just to receive a painting, but to participate in its becoming. Together, we shape a piece that holds your story, your colors, and your sense of wonder.
